OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) demolished on Monday morning a large livestock farm belonging to a Palestinian family in the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources, two bulldozers escorted by Israeli police forces stormed the eastern area of Issawiya and embarked on knocking down a four-dunum livestock farm belonging to the Mustafa family.
The Mustafa family had to relocate the livestock from the farm after recently receiving a final demolition notice against the facility, which was built in 1996.
The Israeli municipality also demolished residential premises belonging to the family in the same area.
The IOA recently started carrying out a large-scale demolition campaign in Issawiya and other Palestinian neighborhoods of east Jerusalem as part of its efforts to force the Jerusalemite families to leave the holy city.
