OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) extended on Wednesday an order banning Nafisa Khuwais, a noted Jerusalemite activist, from traveling abroad for an additional six months.
According to local sources, the IOA also extended Khuwais’s banishment from the Aqsa Mosque for three months.
Khuwais, for its part, said that such Israeli measures against her would not undermine her steadfastness in the holy city, pledging to continue defending the Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalemite activist has been summoned, arrested, interrogated, and assaulted by the Israeli occupation police several times before. The police also banned her entry to the Mosque and her travel abroad many times.
