JENIN, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)
The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) issued a military order to uproot all the trees planted over vast tracts of Palestinian-owned land in the town of Zububa in the West Bank province of Jenin.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said on Tuesday that the IOA intends to bulldoze about 59 dunums of tree-covered land in the town under different pretexts, describing the measure as “aggression against Palestinian agricultural lands and resources.”
The Commission noted that in recent months, the Israeli occupation issued many similar orders targeting land across the West Bank, citing security concerns and the need to protect settler roads as pretexts.
The Commission expressed its belief that these measures are part of a broader policy aimed at expanding Israeli control over more areas and undermining Palestinian agricultural activity in the West Bank.
