WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) destroyed on Monday morning structures and homes belonging to Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli bulldozers demolished a number of agricultural walls and one water well in Silwad town in eastern Ramallah belonging to Abdul-Karim Ayyad with the aim of tightening the noose around the local residents and preventing them from reclaiming their lands.
In southern Nablus, Israeli forces bulldozed several homes and agricultural structures in Khirbet at-Tawil hamlet near Aqraba town.
In a separate incident, the IOA handed a Palestinian family in Jerusalem a demolition notice against its own home under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources, the Israeli municipality issued a demolition order to the family of prisoner Aziz Abu Ramuz, ordering it to demolish its own house in Silwan district at its own expense to avoid paying exorbitant fines and demolition fees.
Yesterday, the municipality issued a final demolition ultimatum for the house of Mousa Badran in al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan. He was given 21 days to carry out the demolition himself.
