The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has received the remains of three Israeli captives from the Gaza Strip via the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported on Friday.
The remains were later transferred to the national forensic institute for identification and examination.
No further details were provided about the circumstances or conditions of the handover.
On Thursday, al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, also handed over two Israeli corpses to the ICRC.
According to Israeli media, Israel has received the remains of 17 Israeli captives since the start of the ceasefire, while 11 others are still in Gaza.
