OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) in Jerusalem laid on Sunday the foundations for the building of an elevator for Jewish settlers near the Aqsa Mosque’s al-Buraq Wall (western wall).
The IOA claimed that the elevator, which will be located 200 meters from the Mosque’s western wall, will be used by Jewish elderlies and people with physical disabilities who want to visit the holy site.
According to the Palestinian WAFA news agency, the IOA have been working for several months on changing the status quo at the Aqsa Mosque at the pretext of carrying out maintenance and routine works around the Islamic holy site.
