WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched drone attacks on the area around Tulkarem refugee camp and stormed other areas of the West Bank on Saturday.
Local sources said that Israeli drones dropped bombs in the vicinity of Tulkarem camp, with no reported casualties.
Meanwhile, the IOF stormed areas in Bethlehem province, including the city, Beit Fajjar town and al-Deheisha refugee camp, patrolled their streets and raided homes.
One of those homes raided by the IOF in Bethlehem belongs to prisoner Abdul-Rahman Miqdad, who will be released today as part of the prisoner swap deal with the Israeli government.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man and clashed with local youths in Kafr Qaddum town.
In Jenin, resistance fighters from al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad detonated explosive devices at IOF vehicles in Silat al-Harithiya town.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and raided homes, with no reported arrests.
The Israel army’s large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank has entered day 26, amid massive destruction to homes and roads and forced displacement of local residents.
