JENIN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Tuesday a mosque in Jenin refugee camp, north of the West Bank.
Local sources said that the IOF knocked down the Hamza Mosque in Jenin camp as part of its large-scale demolition campaign and military operation in Jenin, which entered its eighth day.
The IOF also displaced more citizens from their homes in Jenin camp. Local sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed homes in the east of the camp and forced their residents to evacuate them as a prelude to carry out demolitions in the area.
The Israeli army also continued to demolish infrastructure, roads, and private property in different areas of the camp.
In a separate incident, the IOF demolished on the same day a Palestinian house in Khirbet al-Deir hamlet near Teqoa town, east of Bethlehem, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
