WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Alongside the aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have not stopped ramping up their arrest campaigns in the West Bank.
The IOF troops on Friday detained 25 more Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, including a woman, an injured person, and a child.
The arrests were mainly reported in Qalqilya, Jenin, al-Khalil, Tubas, Tulkarem, and Occupied Jerusalem, according to a statement issued by Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society.
During the Israeli arrest campaigns, the IOF soldiers also beat, abused Palestinians, and conducted field interrogations, in addition to damaging their homes and other property.
The new arrests brought the total number of Palestinians detained by the IOF since Oct. 7 to 6,485.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.
