WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five Palestinians in Ramallah and al-Khalil at dawn Tuesday.
Asra Information Office affirmed that the IOF arrested four Palestinians after breaking into their family houses in Silwad town, northeast of the city of Ramallah.
The Israeli army also declared the arrest of a ‘wanted’ person in Deir Samet town, southwest of al-Khalil, after a pistol was found in his possession.
The Israeli occupation army regularly conducts raid, search, and arrest operations in Palestinian towns across the West Bank, which have intensified this year with Palestinians arrested on a near-daily basis.
4,900 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails, including 28 women.
