WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozed Palestinian-owned land in Husan town, west of Bethlehem, and uprooted dozens of olive and grape trees.
The head of the Husan Village Council, Rami Hamamra, affirmed that the IOF leveled four-dunum land, located between Husan and Nahalin villages.
Hamamra further said that the Israeli forces uprooted 51 olive trees and 15 grape trees.
Earlier Monday, the IOF troops brutally attacked a peaceful protest in Husan town, which was organized against Israeli levelling operations.
On the other hand, three Palestinians were injured when a group of Jewish settlers violently attacked Masafer Yatta town, south of al-Khalil.
According to local sources, Jewish settlers of the “Karmiel” illegal settlement stormed the town and attacked the Fatih Sidra area, spraying local citizens with pepper gas and beating them.
Three locals suffered from different bruises; one of them was moved to the hospital for treatment.
Along the same line, the Israeli forces chased livestock herders and farmers in Wadi Al-Jawaya, near the village of Al-Tuwanah, in Masafer Yatta, and arrested a local farmer while grazing his sheep in that area.
