WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Friday.
This comes as thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank flocked to pray at Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on the third Friday of Ramadan.
The Israeli forces deployed 3,000 police forces throughout the occupied city amid tight restrictions.
In Ramallah, the IOF raided Qarawat Bani Zeid, Turmus Ayya, and Kafr Ein villages. Arrests were reported during raids.
At least four youths were detained in the IOF Tulkarem raid.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians, including a child.
Two other people were rounded up in al-Khalil.
In Nablus, the Israeli forces stormed Balata refugee camp, Burqa, Qablan, and Yatma towns amid heavy gunfire. No arrests were reported.
