WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out fresh raids and arrests across the West Bank on Saturday, coinciding with the weeks-long aggression in the northern West Bank governorates.
In Jenin, 12 Israeli military vehicles stormed Ya’bad town and deployed in the Amarneh neighborhood, raiding several homes.
Three Palestinians were rounded up during the raids, including a father and son.
The Israeli occupation earlier announced its intention to demolish more than 60 homes in Jenin camp, while Haaretz Hebrew newspaper revealed that 95 other homes are scheduled to be demolished in the camp to pave new roads.
The Jenin Municipality also announced that the IOF troops had bulldozed most of the camp’s streets and approximately 80% of the city’s streets during the ongoing two-month-long offensive.
In Tulkarem, the Israeli forces raided a number of homes in the vicinity of the Muqata’a neighbourhood, with no arrests reported.
The IOF soldiers also forced their way into Nablus city and Balata refugee camp and deployed throughout Hittin Street and Al-Habla neighborhood.
During the raid, the Israeli forces distributed posters in Balata refugee camp threatening local residents of participating in any anti-occupation activities or providing protection to resistance fighters.
Since the start of their war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, resulting in the killing of more than 937 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 7,000, and the arrest of 15,700 others.
