WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday closed the entrances of two villages in Ramallah and Nablus, and clashed with Palestinian youths in al-Ram town, north of Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the IOF closed the main entrance of Aboud village, northwest of Ramallah, and prevented Palestinian vehicles from using the road in both directions.
In Nablus, the IOF also blocked the main entrance of Bizzariya village with mounds of dirt and rocks, which obstructed the movement of local residents.
Meanwhile, Israeli police forces stormed al-Ram town in Jerusalem and intensively fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades during clashes with local youths.
Police forces also stormed Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, with no reported clashes.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers spray-painted racist slurs on the holy city’s ancient wall near the Aqsa Mosque and al-Jum’ah market.
