IOF continues its genocidal war on Gaza for the 24th consecutive day

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) persist in their all-out war on the Gaza Strip for the 24th consecutive day Wednesday, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reneged on the ceasefire agreement — a move backed by the United States politically and militarily amid unprecedented global failure to intervene.

According to the PIC correspondents, the IOF launched dozens of airstrikes and carried out home demolitions as the blockade on the entry of essential food supplies intensified, painting a grim picture of the famine facing Gaza’s population.

Medical sources reported that 25 Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens injured in Israeli air raids on Gaza since early Wednesday morning.

Five martyrs have been confirmed so far due to the ongoing airstrikes across the Strip.

The martyrdom of young man Hamza Wael Asfa, from Deir al-Balah, was also announced — he succumbed to wounds sustained a week ago in an Israeli strike that hit his tent in central Gaza.

Israeli warplanes launched an air raid on the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis.

Meanwhile, heavy artillery shelling targeted northern areas of Rafah, in the southern part of the Strip.

The Israeli army also demolished several residential buildings in northwest Rafah.

One woman was martyred at dawn and six others wounded after an Israeli reconnaissance missile struck a tent sheltering displaced members of the Mansour family in the Israa Camp near the slaughterhouse west of Khan Yunis.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Israeli helicopters bombed a home on Al-Zuhur Street in Nuseirat Camp, central Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed the killing of two civilians — one of them a child who arrived at the hospital decapitated — as a result of the airstrike.

Later reports confirmed the martyrdom of Mahmoud Maher Al-Hajj and his son Osama, along with another child, following the airstrike on their home in Nuseirat.

Israeli artillery also shelled northern Rafah at dawn.

The IOF detonated multiple residential buildings in northwest Rafah.

Since the resumption of Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip on March 18, the death toll has reached 1,449 martyrs and 3,647 wounded.

The total toll since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has now reached 50,810 martyrs and 115,688 wounded.
