WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their attacks on Palestinians across the West Bank on Friday, raiding towns and villages, assaulting residents, and carrying out arrests.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed the town of Tafuh, where they stopped a vehicle carrying several young men and brutally assaulted them in the middle of the street. Footage showed soldiers forcing three young men out of the car, throwing them to the ground, and beating them.
At the same time, Israeli settlers chased a Palestinian shepherd in Masafer Yatta, south of the city.
Meanwhile, the IOF troops raided the Civil Defense center in the village of Al-Tuwani, searched the premises, damaged property, and confiscated equipment.
Settlers also grazed their livestock on Palestinian-owned land in several hamlets and villages in Masafer Yatta, causing damage to crops and trees.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces once again stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city, firing tear gas at homes. Residents there face daily attacks by soldiers and settlers.
Israeli forces also arrested a young man at the Atara military checkpoint, north of Ramallah, after IOF soldiers stopped the public vehicle he was traveling in and forced him out while he was on his way home from work.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces raided Dheisheh refugee camp, deploying at its entrance and along the main Jerusalem-al-Khalil road.
The Palestine Information Center “Mu‘ta” reported a sharp increase in violations by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, documenting 1,385 incidents between March 27 and April 2, 2026.
According to the report, these violations left six Palestinians killed and 49 others injured, along with 164 arrested.
Israeli forces also carried out 348 raids across the West Bank, including 229 home invasions and searches, as well as 55 demolition and destruction operations targeting homes and property.
The report also documented 224 cases of restrictions at military checkpoints and 54 road closures, severely disrupting daily life for Palestinians.
Additionally, there were 64 incidents of live fire by Israeli forces and 118 settler attacks involving physical assaults and property destruction, alongside increased settlement activity.
Other violations included 16 incidents targeting religious sites, 45 cases of property confiscation or destruction, and four violations affecting the education sector and medical personnel.
