WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man suffered a bullet injury at dawn Saturday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil, while a horde of armed Jewish settlers attacked a Bedouin community in Jericho on Friday.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed al-Fawwar camp while firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters in the camp’s alleys and streets, injuring a young man in his leg.
In northern Jericho, dozens of armed settlers attacked on Friday evening the Bedouin community of Ras Ein al-Auja and stole sheep.
Local official Hasan Malihat said that dozens of settlers in trucks stormed, under military protection, the Ras Ein al-Auja community, fired live ammunition, searched livestock shelters, and stole two flocks of sheep at gunpoint.
Meanwhile, The Israeli occupation army’s destruction and displacement campaign in the northern West Bank entered day 41 in Tulkarem City and its refugee camp and day 28 in Nur Shams refugee camp on Saturday.
