RAMALLAH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Tuesday evening a Palestinian photojournalist as he was trying to travel from the West Bank to Jordan through Allenby (King Hussein) border crossing.
The Asra Media Office said that the IOF kidnaped Palestinian photojournalist and director Abdullah Mataan, a 30-year-old from Burqa village in Ramallah, on the Israeli side of Allenby crossing.
Qamat for Documenting the Palestinian Struggle strongly denounced the Israeli army for kidnaping director Abdullah Mataan, saying he was one of its founding members.
Qamat called on international human rights and media organizations to urgently intervene to have Mataan released from Israeli detention.
