IOF kidnaps several Palestinians during W. Bank raids

WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and on Wednesday morning a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a citizen and his two sons as well as two brothers during raids in Tamun town.

In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped four citizens, including two brothers, during raids in Dura town.

Four others were taken prisoners during IOF raids in the towns of Bani Naim and ash-Shuyukh, east of al-Khalil.

In Salfit, Israeli forces kidnaped five citizens during raids on homes in Deir Istiya town and four others from Haris village.

Seven others were kidnaped during IOF raids in Kifl Haris town in Salfit.

In Tubas, the IOF kidnaped three young men from a house in Tamun town.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and bulldozed roads, amid clashes with resistance fighters in some towns.

Palestinian media sources reported that resistance fighters opened fire and detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces and their vehicles in different areas of the West Bank, including in Tubas, Nablus and Jenin.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained five young men after opening fire at their vehicle near Azzun town in eastern Qalqilya.

Israeli soldiers also savagely assaulted a young man driving a school bus at the Tayasir checkpoint in eastern Tubas.

Eyewitnesses said that soldiers intercepted a bus carrying Palestinian students from Bedouin hamlets as it was heading for schools in the Jordan Valley and beat its young driver, with no known reason.
