WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens and assaulted others during raids in the West Bank at dawn Monday.
According to local sources, two citizens suffered injuries after Israeli soldiers severely beat them in the new Askar refugee camp and al-Jabel ash-Shamali neighborhood in Nablus City.
Red Crescent paramedics transferred the wounded citizens to the hospital.
The IOF also kidnaped two brothers following a raid on their home in Nablus.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped a university student from his home in Abu Qash village.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed the areas of Issawiya, Anata, and Abu Dis in the north and east of the holy city. Several Jerusalemite young men were detained for a while and four of them received a summons for interrogation in Issawiya.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two young men after ransacking their homes in Azzun town.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked other homes during its raid in Azzun town.
