WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Thursday a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, amid clashes with resistance fighters and local youths.
According to local sources, resistance fighters clashed with Israeli troops, who went on the rampage through Jenin City.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said in a statement that a group of its fighters showered IOF vehicles with bullets in the eastern neighborhood in Jenin and detonated explosive devices at them.
A large number of IOF vehicles and two bulldozers stormed Jenin City, spread into different neighborhoods, and embarked on bulldozing roads, infrastructure and private property, amid skirmishes with local youths.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli soldiers detained and assaulted a young man and severely beat another wounded citizen inside his home during the IOF raid in the city
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from their homes during a dawn raid in the city.
The IOF also raided homes in Ramallah City and stormed Umm Safa village, with no reported arrests.
