WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens, including a young girl, during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Tuesday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young girl from her home in Asira ash-Shamaliya town, north of Nablus, and a young man from Awarta town in eastern Nablus.
Four other citizens were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in different neighborhoods of Nablus City.
Israeli occupation forces also stormed Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, and kidnaped a young man after raiding his home. He was detained as a means of pressure on his brother to turn himself in.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Attil town.
The IOF also raided homes and stores in the towns of Anabta and Illar in Tulkarem province, without making arrests.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped a young man during a raid in Beitunia town.
In al-Khalil, the IOF confiscated several Paelstinian-owned cars in Bani Naim town, claiming they were unlicensed.
The IOF also carried out raids in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
