WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, amid clashes with resistance fighters in Nablus City.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young man from an apartment building in Amman street in eastern Nablus and later raided his store after storming the city once again.
Meanwhile, armed clashes broke out between Israeli forces and resistance fighters in the eastern area of Nablus City.
The IOF also stormed as-Sawiya town in southern Nablus and confiscated a car belonging to a local resident.
Israeli soldiers reportedly kidnaped three Palestinian young men after they were attacked last night by a horde of extremist Jewish settlers in the south of Nablus City.
Local sources said that settlers escorted by soldiers assaulted last night three young men and smashed the windshield of a car belonging to one of them in southern Nablus, adding that the young men were on their way back to their homes from their workplace in Ramallah.
In Salfit, the IOF kidnaped four citizens during a raid in Deir Istiya town.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
On Monday evening, several Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during violent clashes with Israeli forces in Bethlehem.
Eyewitnesses said that the clashes started after Israeli troops stormed Husan village in western Bethlehem and fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades at local youths.
Similar skirmishes took place on the same day between young man and Israeli forces in Qusra town, south of Nablus.
