WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Wednesday a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a university student from his home in Nablus City and three others, including a father and his son, from Beita town.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped two citizens after raiding their homes in the towns of Yatta and Beit Awwa.
Israeli forces also stormed Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil, with no reported arrests.
Another young man was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Aqaba town in Tubas.
The IOF also stormed Turmus Ayya town in the northeast of Ramallah and clashed with local youths last night. Four young men suffered bullet injuries during the events.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed Shuweika suburb in northern Tulkarem and Hizma town in the northeast of Jerusalem, without making arrests.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped a young man from the Bab al-Hitta street that leads to the Aqsa Mosque and two others from the Old City after extremist Jewish settlers assaulted them.
In a separate incident, resistance fighters opened fire last night at the illegal settlement of Gan Ner in northern Jenin and also targeted Israeli forces in Meithalun town, south of Jenin province.
