WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and on Thursday morning a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped four citizens after ransacking their homes in Tulkarem.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped at least 12 citizens following raids on homes in different neighborhoods of the city.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped a woman from Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in al-Bireh City.
The IOF detained and assaulted six young men after intercepting a car they were in at the checkpoint of Atara village in northern Ramallah before releasing them.
Israeli forces reportedly raided dozens of homes in the cities of Ramallah and al-Bireh and different towns of the province.
In Tubas, one young citizen was taken prisoner at an IOF checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.
In Nablus, a Palestinian woman was injured when a stun grenade hit her leg and other citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during an IOF raid in the eastern area of the city.
Local sources said that Israeli forces and settlers stormed the eastern area of Nablus City to perform rituals at Joseph’s Tomb, which provoked clashes with local youths.
The IOF also carried out raids on homes in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
