WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Monday a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped five citizens, including a young woman, during raids on homes in different areas of Bethlehem.
In Salfit, the IOF carried out raids on several homes and interrogated local residents in Qarawat Bani Hassan town and withdrew from the area without making arrests.
In al-Khalil, one citizen was taken prisoner after midnight following an IOF raid in Dura town.
Two citizens were also kidnaped by the IOF from the towns of ar-Rihiya and Yatta in al-Khalil province. One citizen suffered a fracture in his leg after Israeli soldiers assaulted him in Yatta.
Another citizen suffered multiple injuries after Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted him in Wadi as-Samen neighborhood in southern al-Khalil.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from their homes in al-Mughayyir village and Beitunia town.
In Jericho, one young man was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Aqabat Jabr refugee camp.
IOF raids also took place in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
