WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Wednesday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped 14 citizens following raids on homes in different areas of Bethlehem province, including Deheisheh refugee camp, Husan village and al-Khader town.
Another citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in al-Khalil City. The IOF reportedly set up checkpoints and blocked roads at the entrances of al-Khalil City and nearby towns, villages and refugee camps.
In Nablus, Israeli soldiers assaulted an ex-detainee called Qutaiba Azem, from Sebastia town, before taking him to an unknown place.
Last night, a young man was seriously injured by IOF gunfire in Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked several homes and assaulted some local residents, including a child and a young woman, during its raid in Sebastia.
The IOF raided homes in other areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn, with no additional arrests reported.
