JENIN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three Palestinian youths were killed on Thursday evening by Israeli gunfire in the town of Qabatiya, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Jenin Governor Kamal Abu Al-Rub said that the IOF shot and killed two Palestinians in Qabatiya and withheld their bodies, while Red Crescent teams transported a Palestinian youth killed by Israeli troops to the hospital.
Fawaz Hamad, the director of Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin, identified the victim as Qais Zakarneh, a 21-year-old youth, who had been shot in the head.
Earlier, Israeli forces stormed the town, besieged a house, and bombarded it with shoulder-fired missiles before a military bulldozer began demolishing it, killing two Palestinian individuals inside. The two are yet to be identified.
This Israeli onslaught also led to violent confrontations in the area, during which the Israeli forces heavily fired live ammunition at the house and at passers-by.
Circulating footage showed an Israeli army bulldozer desecrating the body of one of the fallen, removing the martyr’s body from inside the besieged house with a bulldozer in an extremely humiliating manner.
Since the onset of the all-out Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, a total of 544 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank, including Occupied Jerusalem. Among the martyrs were 133 children.
