WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched at dawn Friday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
In Nablus, local sources reported that the IOF troops, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the Balata refugee camp, and started bulldozing its roads amid heavy firing of live ammunition and sound bombs, which led to the outbreak of armed clashes.
The Israeli forces also forced their way into al-Khalil city early today and raided the Wadi al-Hariya area and the municipality suburb.
In Ramallah, the IOF arrested two young men after raiding their homes in Beitunia town and stormed Al-Bireh City.
Local sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles stormed Jabal al-Tawil in Al-Bireh City. No arrests were reported.
In Tulkarem, clashes erupted in Qaffin town after it was stormed by Israeli forces.
Medical sources said that a 49-year-old woman was injured by a bullet shrapnel during the raid.
