WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Thursday.
In Jenin, armed clashes erupted in Ya’bad town after it was stormed by a large Israeli force that surrounded a local house belonging to Asaad Al-Qaniri. The clashes ended with his martyrdom.
The IOF also arrested 3 young men in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin, and photographed several local homes belonging to several martyrs.
Three more Palestinians were detained in Burqin town, west of Jenin, including a father and his son.
In Ramallah, the IOF arrested Aina Ghaidan, the sister of the martyr Ahmed Yassin Ghaidan, after arresting his mother and two brothers yesterday.
The IOF also broke into the Al-Amari refugee camp, injuring a young man and arresting another.
Two more arrests were reported in the Duheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem, while two brothers were detained in Rafidia town in Nablus.
The IOF also rounded up two Palestinians in Qalqilya, including a teenager, and two brothers in Jericho.
