WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out last night and at dawn Thursday raids on a number of currency exchange companies in the West Bank and kidnaped a number of their employees.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed exchange companies in Nablus, Jericho, Tulkarem, Bethlehem, Bireh, Tubas and Jenin, and kidnaped several citizens working for them.
In Tulkarem, the IOF killed three young men, with no reason, and raided a currency exchange store in Nablus street during a campaign in the city.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped director of the Gulf exchange company Alaa Abayat from her home in al-Manshiya village after interrogating her and forcing her to open the doors of her workplace.
Israeli forces also stormed Anabta town in eastern Tulkarem, Asira ash-Shamaliya town in northern Nablus and Tubas City and kidnaped three citizens working for the same exchange company.
The IOF also carried out broke into and ransacked two branches belonging to the Gulf exchange company in the cities of Nablus and Jericho and two other exchange stores in the cities of al-Bireh and al-Khalil.
Another citizen working for an exchange company was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Kafr Ra’i town, southwest of Jenin, while similar raids took place in different towns of Jenin province.
