IOF raids homes in different W. Bank areas, kidnaps citizens in southern Tubas

WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed last night and on Wednesday morning different areas of the West Bank, raided homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens.

Shortly after midnight, a large number of Israeli troops stormed Fari’ah refugee camp and Tamun town in southern Tubas.

Local sources said that the IOF raided several homes and destroyed roads and infrastructure during its campaign in Fari’ah camp.

The IOF also bulldozed parts of the main road connecting the camp with Tubas City and blocked it.

Two citizens were reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in Fari’ah camp.

Israeli forces also stormed Tamun town and forced some local residents to leave their homes and interrogated them. Ten citizens, including a woman, were taken prisoners during the IOF campaign in the town.

In Jenin, IOF vehicles encircled a house in Qabatiya town before soldiers broke into it and kidnaped a young man.

In Jericho, the IOF opened fire at a child, injuring him in his leg in al-Arab neighborhood of the city.

Israeli forces also stormed the towns of Abwein and Silwad in Ramallah province and ransacked several homes, with no reported arrests.

In a separate incident, a horde of extremist settlers blocked the main road leading to al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village in southern Nablus early this morning, and embarked on performing hysterical dances and obstructing the movement of local resident and their vehicles.
