JENIN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) During a dawn raid on Saturday in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin City, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped and assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens and destroyed roadside businesses.
According to local sources, Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes in the eastern area of Jenin and turned some of them into military posts after forcing their residents to leave them.
The Israeli forces also detained and brutalized several local young men and kidnaped a number of them.
An IOF bulldozer reportedly destroyed vegetable stalls and property near the Sharqiya cemetery in Jenin and in al-Bayader area of the city.
One citizen sustained injuries and was transported by a Red Crescent ambulance to the hospital after being brutally beaten by Israeli soldiers in his home in Jenin City.
