WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a campaign of raids and arrests in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem last night and on Tuesday morning.
According to local sources, Israeli police forces stormed several homes in Shuafat refugee camp in east Jerusalem and kidnaped a number of citizens.
Five other citizens were kidnaped by the Israeli police from their homes in the Ras Khamis neighborhood, northeast of Jerusalem.
The IOF also stormed a house in the town of al‑Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, and also raided the town of Dura, southwest of al-Khalil, with no reported arrests.
In the morning, Israeli soldiers detained several Palestinians near the Abara checkpoint between Kafr Haris and Haris, northwest of Salfit, before releasing them later.
In a separate incident, local residents reported that Palestinian youths targeted an Israeli army watchtower with Molotov cocktails and fireworks at the entrance of al‑Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil.
