WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed last night and at dawn Tuesday different West Bank areas, raided several homes, and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens, which provoked confrontations with resistance fighters and local youths.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed several towns in Jenin and kidnaped two young men from Siri’s town.
Resistance fighters clashed with Israeli forces in Meithalun town in southern Jenin and attacked IOF vehicles with homemade bombs in Silat al-Harithiya village.
Resistance fighters also detonated explosive devices at IOF vehicles and showered them with bullets in Yamun town.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF broke into and ransacked multiple homes in Yamun town and kidnapped two local young men.
In Nablus, IOF vehicles and one bulldozer stormed the city and Balata refugee camp and clashed with resistance fighters.
Local sources said that violent clashes broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in different areas of Balata camp and its vicinity, especially in al-Souk street, during which explosive devices were detonated at IOF vehicles.
The IOF also stormed the villages of Zawata and Qaryut in Nablus, with no reported arrests.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Azzun town and another one from Kafr Thuluth town.
Israeli forces also raided a house in Ras Atiya town, south of Qalqilya, and wreaked havoc on its furniture.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers kidnaped journalist Rula Hassanein from al-Jalazon refugee camp after ransacking her house.
In al-Khalil, two citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids in Jabel ash-Sharif area in the city and Beit ar-Rush al-Fauqa village.
The IOF also carried out raids in Surif town, north of al-Khalil, without making arrests.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed Tira neighborhood in the city, Ni’lin town and Arura village and ransacked homes. No arrests have been reported.
