WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided several areas of the West Bank at dawn Saturday and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens, amid violent clashes with resistance fighters.
According to local sources, resistance fighters opened fire and detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces in Jericho, Tulkarem, and Jenin.
The IOF reportedly stormed different West Bank areas, including the cities of Nablus and Bethlehem, Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil, Yatta town in southern al-Khalil, Ein Yabrud town in eastern Ramallah, and the refugee camps of Aqabat Jabr and Ein al-Sultan in Jericho.
Clashes reportedly took place between local youths and Israeli soldiers in those areas, while resistance fighters attacked IOF troops and vehicles in some areas.
The IOF also stormed Qalandia refugee camp in northern Jerusalem, clashed with local youths and kidnaped some citizens.
In Jenin, a large number of Israeli troops stormed the city and its refugee camp and used flares to light up the sky over the area.
According to media sources, the IOF intensified its presence near the Jenin Hospital, deployed snipers on rooftops of some buildings in the city and its refugee camp, raided homes, kidnaped a number of citizens, and cut off electricity to the camp and other areas.
Meanwhile, the Tulkarem Brigade said that its fighters were able to open fire at Israeli foot soldiers in Deir al-Ghusun town in northern Tulkarem and injured some of them.
