WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens and assaulted some of them during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes with resistance fighters and local youths.
According to local sources, two young men identified as Asaad Amr and Hosni Amr, residents of Ya’bad town in Jenin, were transported to hospital after the IOF detained and savagely assaulted them last night before releasing them later.
The IOF kidnaped and assaulted the young men after intercepting the car they were aboard in the central area of the town.
In Nablus, Israeli forces with a bulldozer stormed Balata refugee camp and clashed with resistance fighters, who damaged one of their armored vehicles.
The IOF also raided the towns of Rujeib and Burqa, with no reported arrests.
Similar IOF raids took place in Tubas City, where Israeli forces raided several homes, deployed snipers on rooftops of many homes and buildings, and clashed with local youths.
In Bethlehem, the IOF raided homes in the villages of Beit Ta’mir and al-Arooj, without making arrests.
In al-Khalil, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian car in the east of the city and kidnaped the driver.
In Qalqilya, the IOF raided several homes in Azzun town, and detained and interrogated some young men before releasing them.
