WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Wednesday, raiding homes and kidnaping several Palestinian citizens.
According to local sources, the IOF assaulted and kidnaped a teenager in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Batn al-Hawa in Silwan, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
The IOF also stormed Turmus Ayya town, north of Ramallah, and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters in its streets, with no reported arrests.
In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man from the old Askar refugee camp.
Another young man was kidnaped by Israeli special forces from his home near Balata refugee camp in eastern Nablus.
Israeli forces reportedly broke into and ransacked several homes in Beit Iba village, west of Nablus, and Attil town, north of Tulkarem. Three young men were kidnaped from Beit Iba.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of Qaddumi along with their father and uncle during a raid in Jayyous town.
In Jenin, five citizens were taken prisoner following an IOF raid in Silat al-Harithiya town.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in Beit Ummar town.
Meanwhile, Israeli army bulldozers closed several unpaved side roads leading to the town of Yatta, south of al-Khalil. Local residents had to build these roads to bypass main routes blocked by the Israeli army.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, amid violent clashes with local youths in Tubas City and Kafr al-Labad town in Tulkarem.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian citizens and foreign activists in the Masafer Yatta area of southern al-Khalil.
Local activist Osama Makhamra said that settlers broke into the house of Farid al-Hamamda in the Fateh Sidra area of Masafer Yatta and assaulted residents and foreign activists, adding Israeli soldiers stormed the same area and kidnaped a citizen from the family of al-Hamamda.
