AL-KHALIL (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished five houses and a cave in Khillat al-Dab’ hamlet in Masafer Yatta in southern Al-Khalil on Monday morning.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers stormed the hamlet and razed the five houses and the cave for Dababse family that used to provide accommodation for 40 individuals, most of them women and children, who are now living in the open cold weather.
They added that the soldiers also destroyed the electricity grid and water pipelines in the area along with trees and cultivated lands surrounding the houses.
The owners of those houses and the lands appealed to local and international institutions to urgently intervene to put an end to such savage practices in which the Israeli occupation government and settlers work in unison to make life impossible for Palestinians and force them to leave their houses and lands in favor of the settlers.
