WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Thursday two Palestinian buildings in Jerusalem and handed over home demolition notices to Palestinian families in the Al-Shuwaikeh suburb of Tulkarem in the West Bank.
The IOF razed two buildings in agricultural lands located between the towns of Beit Annan and Beit Luqia in Jerusalem, owned by Jamil Rabee and Enad Hamid.
The IOF reportedly stormed the Al-Issawiya town and Qalandia refugee camp in Jerusalem, and arrested a young man, from Qalandia camp, north of Jerusalem, after sabotaging his family’s house and beating him severely. His father and brother are both imprisoned in Israeli jails.
The town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, also witnessed last night an Israeli aggression, as the IOF assaulted its citizens, while firing teargas and stun grenades.
In Tulkarem, the IOF handed over notifications to demolish the homes located in the vicinity of the apartheid wall in Al-Shuwaikeh suburb, north of Tulkarem.
Israeli demolition policies have escalated in the West Bank and Jerusalem, aiming at displacing the Palestinians and expanding Jewish settlements, amid the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people.
