WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed at dawn different West Bank areas, assaulted some Palestinian citizens and raided currency exchange offices in Ramallah.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Beit Ummar town in northern Ramallah, raided homes and clashed with local youths.
Israeli forces also stormed Qalqilya City, fired stun grenades in its main market, ambushed local young men, and assaulted one of them before releasing him, amid drone overflights.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli soldiers detained a young man for a while and severely beat him before letting him go.
In Jerusalem, a large number of Israeli police stormed Shahada neighborhood in Shuafat refugee camp, with no reported arrests.
In Ramallah, the IOF raided several currency exchange offices in al-Balou neighborhood and put up military notices ordering their closure.
Israeli forces also stormed at dawn the eastern area of Nablus City to secure the area for Jewish settlers who flocked to Joseph’s tomb for rituals.
The IOF reportedly clashed with local youths and resistance fighters after they spread in the eastern area of Nablus.
Meanwhile, resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli forces in Balata al-Balad in eastern Nablus and detonated an explosive device at their vehicles.
