DAMASCUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) advanced further into Syrian territory on Thursday and took control of Al-Mantra Dam, the largest dam in southern Syria.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers occupied the dam and established military barriers around, restricting entry into and exit out of the area.
A few days ago, the IOF advanced into the city of Qunaitra in southern Syria and besieged government buildings and forced all employees to evacuate them.
Following the downfall of the Assad regime in Syria last month, IOF advanced into Syrian lands and occupied a number of villages adjacent to the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
