Iran‑Israel tensions escalate as critical infrastructure becomes a target in widening conflict

TEHRAN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The military escalation between Iran and the Israeli occupation is entering a more dangerous phase, shifting from limited exchanges of strikes to mutual targeting of vital infrastructure, amid direct US involvement and mounting pressure on regional energy routes.

On Sunday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of its 75th missile wave, striking Israel’s home front with barrages that included cluster munitions.

The Israeli occupation army also declared a large wave of attacks on infrastructure inside Tehran.

The Hebrew media reported damage at eight sites from Iranian missile fragments in central Israel, Upper Galilee, and Safed on Sunday.

Meanwhile, explosions were heard in the Iranian capital, Tehran, as air defense systems were activated to intercept hostile targets. Meanwhile, Gulf states, including Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, announced that they had intercepted attacks attributed to Iran.

President Trump on Saturday threatened to bomb Iran’s power plants if it did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz within the next two days.

Following Trump’s threat, the Iranian army said it would target all energy infrastructure in the region if Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure were attacked.
