TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian vowed on Tuesday to respond to any Israeli attack on the country in an appropriate and proportionate way.
President Pezeshkian made his remarks during a visit to the Hamas Movement’s office in Tehran this morning, where he offered his condolences on the martyrdom of Hamas political chief Yehya as-Sinwar.
During the visit, the Iranian President criticized Western governments and powers that verbally advocate for human rights, democracy and international laws, but their practices contradict their words. He argued that those who promote these ideals are often the same entities that violate them, particularly in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian struggle.
He said that the US and the West support Israel and supply it with weapons to commit brutal crimes against humanity while the world stands idle.
