TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least 224 people have been killed and more than 1,250 wounded since the Israeli occupation army launched attacks on Iran, the health ministry in Tehran said early Monday.
The majority of the victims are civilians, including dozens of women and children, according to Iranian authorities and state-run media.
The casualties follow escalating tensions after Israel launched strikes Friday on Iranian nuclear and missile facilities that killed top military commanders and scientists, prompting Iran to retaliate with ballistic missiles and drones against Israeli targets.
