NAZARETH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli army radio said early Saturday morning that the second body transferred to Israel after the Hamas Movement handed it over to the Red Cross on Friday was identified as the remains of captive Shiri Bibas.
On Friday night, senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi announced that his Movement handed over the body of Shiri Bibas to Red Cross representatives.
The Israeli occupation army had claimed that Shiri was not among the four bodies handed over on Thursday and that it had received an “anonymous body.”
Later, Hamas called it a mistake, and said that Bibas’ remains might have been “mixed” with others when their place was bombed by an Israeli airstrike.
