BETHLEHEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army demolished on Thursday a restaurant and some facilities in Nahalin town, west of Bethlehem, south of the West Bank, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources, a bulldozer escorted by Israeli forces stormed Wadi al-Baqara area at the northern entrance of Nahalin and embarked on knocking down a restaurant and premises of a soccer field belonging to a local resident.
The sources said that Israeli soldiers cordoned off the area and showered citizens and vehicles with tear gas canisters.
A few months ago, the Israeli army demolished several Palestinian-owned commercial facilities in the same area.
