Israel continues its bloody war on Lebanon for the 59th day

BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli forces continue their bloody war on Lebanon for the 59th consecutive day on Wednesday, launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling on various areas of the country, along with a ground incursion into several villages in the south, amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah.

On Wednesday morning, Israeli aircraft carried out an airstrike on the outskirts of the town of Maidoun in the Western Bekaa.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of three members of the Lebanese army and the injury of eight others due to the Israeli airstrike on Sarafand.

On Tuesday night, Israeli warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes on the areas of Qantara in Sarafand, Dibal, and Tayr Dba, coinciding with strikes on the towns of Ma’are and Deir Ammar.

Lebanese sources reported that Israeli forces began attempts to advance towards the southern town of Kfar Shuba under the cover of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and bursts of machine-gun fire.

Lebanese media noted an increase in clashes within the eastern neighborhood of the town of Khiam between the Islamic resistance and the invading forces, confirming the sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire.

Israeli aircraft bombed the towns of Kfar Maki, Kfar Shuba, and Khiam in southern Lebanon, along with artillery fire.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that two martyrs fell due to an Israeli airstrike on the Shiyah area in the southern suburb of Beirut.

According to Lebanese media, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting the city of Khiam and the town of Kfar Shuba concurrently with artillery shelling.
