JENIN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army detonated a Palestinian home on Tuesday evening inside the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that a loud explosion echoed throughout the camp, followed by thick smoke rising from the area, after one of the homes in the “Tal‘at al-Ghabbaz” neighborhood was blown up.
Earlier Friday, the Israeli army began demolishing Palestinian homes in Jenin camp, just hours after announcing its plan to destroy 24 buildings inside the camp.
On November 12, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that satellite images showed roughly 1460 buildings had been destroyed or severely or moderately damaged in the Jenin, Nur Shams, and Tulkarem refugee camps in the northern West Bank.
Since January 21, the Israeli army has continued a military offensive in camps across the northern West Bank, starting in Jenin and expanding to include the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps east of Tulkarem.
