GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli aggression entered its twenty-second day in the Gaza Strip with relentless and savage barbaric bombardment from the air, land, and sea, accompanied by a complete cutoff of communications and internet to conceal the ongoing massacre. Meanwhile, the resistance is engaging in fierce clashes to repel attempts of ground incursions from the east and west.
The PIC correspondent and local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue their intense aerial, ground, and naval bombardment without pause and almost non-stop throughout the Gaza Strip, with a focus on the northern Gaza Strip and the western part of Gaza City.
Fierce clashes have continued overnight on the eastern outskirts of the Strip, as the resistance thwarted limited incursions by the IOF tanks in close combat battles.
Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to Al-Kurdi family behind the Jabalia Club in the northern Gaza Strip Saturday morning.
The IOF also shelled the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia with artillery fire. The vicinity of the hospital has been under continuous shelling since Friday evening.
Israeli warplanes also bombed a house near the Al-Ahli Club in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza leading to a number of martyrs and injuries.
Medical sources reported that 25 martyrs and 35 injured individuals were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza as a result of the savage bombardment.
Communication cutoff
Due to the continued communication blackout since Friday evening at 6 p.m., precise details about the massacre committed by the IOF in the Shati refugee camp and western Gaza are not available. Local news agency “Shehab” reported an increase in the number of martyrs to 100 and several injuries.
Communication and internet were completely cut off in the Gaza Strip on Friday evening, coinciding with a violent and unprecedented aerial and naval bombardment carried out by the IOF.
PIC correspondents reported that the communication network and internet suddenly went out in the Gaza Strip, coinciding with successive and unprecedented Israeli aerial bombardment.
Local sources confirmed that the Israeli warplanes had previously targeted the main communication towers, causing widespread disruption, although some areas still had minimal communication, allowing a minimum level of communication between citizens and their families.
The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced a complete cutoff of all communication and internet services with the Gaza Strip in the midst of the continuous aggression.
It explained that the recent intense bombardment destroyed the last remaining international communication lines connecting Gaza with the outside world, in addition to the previously destroyed lines during the aggression, resulting in a complete loss of communication services for the besieged enclave.
Clashes
Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, announced Friday night that it had confronted a ground incursion in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza and east of Al-Bureij in central Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades added in a communique that intense clashes were taking place on the ground.
Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad Movement, also announced that its advanced units were present on the fighting fronts and were confronting enemy forces that attempted, from time to time, to infiltrate into the Gaza Strip.
Warning of further massacres
Hamas Movement warned that the cutoff of communications and internet in the Gaza Strip, along with the escalation of ground, naval, and aerial bombardment of residential neighborhoods, point to the Israeli intention to commit further massacres and acts of genocide away from the eyes of the media and the world.
In a statement, Hamas held Israel, Washington, and Western capitals that supported the aggression fully responsible for the series of horrific massacres and their repercussions in Gaza.
On Friday evening, the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 7,326 martyrs, including 3,038 children, 1,726 women, and 414 elderly individuals, in addition to 18,967 citizens injured with various wounds since October 7th.
